Aleksi Ivanov is well known with his unique style and street art objects (electrical boxes, concrete leftovers from socialistic times and all these strange little pieces of precious urbanizations on the streets of Bulgaria) he’s paining in site specific and 3 dimensional order and love to collaborate with other artists. He starts with graffiti in 2003 but quickly switches focus towards contemporary muralism and objects in urban environment. His work is dedicated to positive public space transformation, so he often choses abandoned and neglected places for his public interventions. His often naive, colorful style, with cartoon-like characters and illustrative elements evolves throughout the years and is ever-changing due to multiple collaborative projects with artists with different fields of expertise. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Social sciences and social impact is the main purpose of his work. Aleksi Ivanov is born and raised in Varna, currently lives and works in Sofia.
